Wheels, a new option?

Not seen these before,a nice looking wheel. £750 a set seems cheap,wonder how heavy they are?

- Too small - I mailed seller, he cant go wider. Pointless advert - just costing him money!

Strictly speaking you could run the same size tyres on those but you'd need to adjust the offset compared to standard.

I assume any buyer would be asked to choose what offset they want, at which point they google the wheel spec, check build manual etc, and realise they they are not the right size!

Or a new owner would take it on face value and assume that they would fit our cars - as advertised. (As I did soon after purchasing my car, but fortunately bought std GTO wheels as spares). Disgraceful.

GTO wheels are supposed to be stronger than 3R wheels ;-)
I would always do my homework, if only because its a £750 purchse via fleabay!

I paid £500 for a set of GTO wheels with part worn R888s. I considered it a bit of a bargain, as I've got 4 track days out of the rubber and still tread left, albeit on the road legal limit. Wheels alone, mayby £300 on that basis, but no less. May get snapped up at twice that - depends whether anyone's looking as its a small market.
