Willans harness set

Hi guys, just a quick question, when I bought my 3R recently I had Willans make up a new set of belts for driver and passenger, mine had rusty adjusters for some of the side belts where the rear window must have leaked at some time, before I throw them away are they any good to anyone? I'm near Basingstoke for collection or can post. Cheers, Steve

How much was a new set and how easy to sort?

The house I grew up in was in Herriard! Longest part of my life was spent there.

Is it opposite church by the sawmill by any chance?

They are black. Nice to know another Noble owner is so close, must be quiet when I am caning it down the Alton Road...

The guy at Willans was really good, they didn't have the pattern so I sent one set, he was really communicative and honest, £300 plus VAT and they made identical copies. They are wonderful. Really easy to sort and I hope they kept the details of mine for others, I can give you the reference if you want to get a set the same. Cheers, Steve
