BOV Fitting help

Hello all,

Looking at fitting my BOV but need help

I understand that the main cylinder part of the BOV (Part with Vegan Tune across it is fitted into the hose from the Intercooler to the throttle body?

As for the small hose with the metal plate at the end (Hanging in Intercooler box), where does this go?

Thats the vacuum hose, needs to be Tee'd into a vacuum line coming off the manifold. I think there are a few to choose from, not sure if there is a prefered one tho!

I notice on mine I have the two pipes connected when according to the build manual this should be a blank plate. Any idea what this is?

Looks like some sort of NRV. What is it plumbed up to if you follow the pipes?

Hi Matt,

It is only plumbed up to itself. The pipe goes underneath the electrical connection and then into the back of the item.

There were some markings on it that shows its a Hyundai vacumm valve of somekind possibly to do with emissions. Why it is on my car I dont know

Only thing I can think is that it's some sort of MAP sensor but I can clearly see the original sensor still fitted in your picture. What ECU are you running? Do you have a digital boost gauge?

As for plumbing the BOV, remove the metal plate from the end of the vacuum hose and tee the hose somewhere suitable into the vacuum lines.
