Dull n/s headlight

Swapped bulbs checked fuses still the same ? Pulled out relays but couldn't see anything, bit stumped any advice much appreciated .

Dipped or Main beam , 3R or GTO / 3 ?

If it looks dull - is it just side lights that are on and the main beam is firing up? (on a 3R at least).

Swapped the bulbs over to check if its that?

sorry should have given more detail. its a 3. dull on dipped and full beam. swapped bulbs round as was the same.

Bad earth, also clean the relays.

Relays may be full of water, check to see they are upside down, if they are, remount the box.

Relay area all looks dry and not been moved prior to problem. Checked connections by rad all seems ok? Any suggestions for best place to buy bulbs might just change them anyways.

Yep bad earth. In the end I had to run a new earth. Getting loom replaced now.

Does it effect your indicators.

Indicators seem fine, need to pop it over to jet stream so will get dave too take a look. Thanks
