Suns out so aircon question?

Hi

Anyone know where to get an aircon pump from that's not £900 plus vat, I've got the light on the switch, fans on, anough gas, 12v in all the right places but the pump clutch will not engage. With the help of jetstream I've by past the pump cut out switch also but still no joy.

Any help or tips would be great

Your best bet is from someone who has recently, or is about to rip out their aircon because they're fed up with it not working. The man-maths being the weight saving will make them go faster.

When i had mine looked at last by a specialist he said it was all from a mondeo.
