Hi all,

After about 30 miles of driving on Monday, the boost pressure went (It just goes from -1 to 0 and stops) and power is down accordingly.

Everything else is running smoothy, the car drives fine and I can here the turbos spooling.

Only thing I can think of out of the ordinary what a sizeable backfire on start up the evening before, but as mentioned, I drove about 30 miles the following day before the boost went. The backfire also popped that rubber bung off the intake near top of engine which led to the high idling last time.

Anyone had this problem and could it be an easy fix or back to specialist? I can't see anything out of place and a mechanic who poked around suggested actuators or ECU but he didn't fancy trying to find out and I'd rather he didn't if he doesn't know Nobles.

Just wanted to check before taking day off and driving to Leicester.

Cheers

Check all your boost hoses are still attached and clamped up tight. Have a quick look around the intercooler in case you've got a split and then make sure both actuator arms are still attached to the wastegate spigots.
Try to avoid heavy acceleration as the turbos don't like over revving and you'll only ruin the bearings.
