Hi all,
I'm keen to do an advanced driving course to ensure I drive on the road (for now) safer and with more confidence.

I've been looking at ride drive and car limits. Does anyone have any comments/ experince with them or others? And yes I have read all the comments on the AD thread wink

Any tips?

Cheers

They both have their merits and teach you different things.

Ride Drive will show you techniques such as the positioning of your car on the road for making smoother progress, simple things like the best way to hold the gear lever for changing thru the gears, how to read the road, and great overtaking techniques. All done in real world conditions on the road.

Car Limits does as it says on the tin. It will show you the limits of your car, and techniques on how to control the car on the limit, all in a controlled environment.

Thanks for the replies guys. In the real world the IMA/Ride Drive is surely the best call. On the other side i'd like to know the limits of the car so I can judge at any given time where i am in relation to them.

In conclusion I will have to do them both!
