As the weather heats up, so my tyres feel softer and the steering feels less precise. Pressures are fine. I'm guessing toyos are too crap for a noble? Too much squealing at moderately fast speeds also. Do they have really soft tyre walls? Is an extra couple of psi worth a try? I'm loathe to ditch them as they are 6mm all round. I would never have bought them - previous owner.

Been reading some largely negative reviews. Apparently the sidewall is quite soft indicating extra pressure may help. However, apparently the tread pattern is 'squishy' as well so increasing pressure will only make that worse I'm guessing. Might have to ditch them. F1 assyms? Want the best steering feel possible.

Best Tyres we have tested in warm conditions has been the Michelin pot cup , over the winter and in the wet most of us use Toyo 888's but the rears go off quickly when they get hot .

Best for grip, steering feel or both? I'm not a track person so feel is most important to me.

Yeh a few of us use them on wet track days , surprisingly good although no good if there is standing water !!

The Pilot cups only come new with 4mm of tread so feel and grip is very very good !! They last ages too my fronts are in there second year !!!

Just changing my rear cups after about 3000 miles, including 3 trackdays. Fronts still have plenty of tread

I killed the rear cups on mine last year in 2500miles with only a track day in the snow... reasons was I had too high tyre pressure and destroyed them in the centre on the motorways... expensive mistake lol

the cups are terrible in the snow lol

F1's for me. I'm not a track driver so perhaps don't know how these tyres vary under really fast conditions, but I've always fitted the F1's for all year around motoring on the road and been very happy. 7 years ownership and have never felt I should even try a different tyre.

The wear is pretty even all the way across to be honest. Should also mention they suffered a day with Chris at centre gravity, and he didn't hang about lol!

On another note, I've always been happy with the Bridgestone SO2's for road use that are on my other wheels, not tried anything else on the road though.

Well i didn't know that, i'm on the Yokohama semi slicks and if i get caught out and its even slightly damp i nurse it around everywhere and head for home.

Yes, F1 assyms are an excellent road tyre. Great feel, low noise, work very well in wet and dry.

I used R1Rs and they worked for me on track. Only standard power though.
Now using RSRs (for road use only) and they are very good for the price.

I had T1R's (previous owner) and i didnt like them on track nor on the road but they were old and pretty hard when i had them. I replaced them last year with R1R's which i am very pleased with wet and dry on road or track.

The tyre debate has been had on here a few times, but set up, power and driving style all make huge difference and lead to a variety of opinions. If you are not confident with the tyres then certainly time to change them !

Hope that helps.

I'm a big fan of F1s and have had them on a few previous cars but I was concerned with the fact that they're XL and would be too hard walled for the light weight Noble. Is this not an issue then? I'm running Vredestein Sessantas which feel great in a straight line (accel/braking) but a bit limp wristed in the corners. Bit like the owner smile
