I got one too and it's not something that should be copied and sent out to all and sundry as it contains some information that you wouldn't want unscrupulous people to get their hands on.
I didn't realise all and sundry was in the forum, I'll be sure not to let them have a copy toolmantim said:
Can you pm me if your selling this, can't get on to noble parts website, got the confirmation email a few mounts back but still no password. Cheers
I was only joking - although mine's colour printed and ring-bound I woulnd't take money off any Nobility for it. Best thing is to contact Daisy Duke who will check/add your ownership details against her register and will send you the pdf link.V1DL3R said:

+1 - or if anyone has a digital copy from Noble Parts they could send round. I have some web space if it needs to be hosted anywhere. Perhaps proof of ownership should be shared first though?Blu3R said:

Perhaps proof of ownership should be shared first though? It's a must do policy, but you'll find as Daisy Duke did that half the people get suspicious and hostile when you ask, and you'll get nothing for your efforts. A proper ownership check must include, as a minimum, getting the build number. Unscrupulous people and dealers, to put it bluntly, just lie otherwise to gain access. This takes time and effort.
Doubly so with the register. From memory a sum total of one person made contact to say they've sold the car and pointed the new owner in the right direction. The majority of people that wanted details from it seemed to be trying to get a bargain, and the background on some car that by all rights should have gone to the crusher.
It didn't help that even being repeatedly told Daisy was the site admin people randomly emailed other addresses for access.
We've learnt our lesson. Maybe paying for access would have helped (if nothing else taken the edge off the hosting fees) but I suspect the pain/reward ratio would still be well in deficit. All that was asked was to click on an advert or two every so often to contribute to the running of the site, but even that proved too much for most people.
It was never going to be a money making site and never set out to be. But paying for the 'privilege' to run it wasn't great, especially as Daisy's efforts didn't seem to be appreciated.
Oi! I was one of those people looking for a bargain . Daisy was very helpful and I appreciated her assistance. I eventually found an ex owner and gained further info but by then too late. Your suggestion seems to be I shouldn't have asked and that poeple on a budget aren't welcome!
I ended up at the other end of the price scale in the end anyway- does that mean I'm more welcome now?
I see NobleParts as a valued and appreciated repository of information that could be lost if the site wasn't there.
However, people seem to come here as that's where the active conversations are.
(I just clicked my NobleParts link and it's dead so maybe it's been taken down ?)
