Over to Tuxman's today to fit the new Protech's he got for me. Really nicely bit's of kit, well made with a quality finish. New valving and spring rates to cater for road and track use. Took us about and hour and a half to fit - simple to do. Protech and Simon have set them up so that you can have the standard (soft) settings you'd be used to at the bottom of the adjustment range so you can have the car set up soft for wet/cold winter road conditions.
I didn't think I'd be able to feel much difference on the road today being a bit damp and slippery but having just driven 60 - 70 miles to Simons on the standard shocks then going out and testing and adjusting the new ones after we'd fitted them proved me wrong. Not only can you 'feel' the car more through the steering wheel but it felt more planted over the standard set-up, especially on the bumpy B roads. Backing them off a click or 2 on both compression and rebound and you can feel it soften, likewise going up a couple of clicks and it stiffens up giving you more feedback. Based on difference in feel (even for a track novice like me) they should be quite easy to tune to your chosen style of daily driving.

Obviously need to put a few miles on them to bed them in and have a play with the settings a bit more, but so far have to say I'm really impressed. Can't wait to try them on the track to see the difference they make over my standard set up driving
Thanks Si bow

Just installed the Tuxman/ProTech street setup on my M12 GTO 3R.
Very excited to experience the results.

Update

Thanks again Simon!

Between the new Springs/Shocks kit, and I modified my rear toe links to allow for quick/accurate toe adjustment, I finally own a Noble that is starting to handle like Top Gear/5th Gear says it should!

I still need to continue tuning the setup, but at least its predictably responding to changes now!

I had these infil panels made to fill in the front wheel arches , it stops the air ballooning up the front wheel arches and creating lift at speed .

one done, will probably get the other one done tomorrow.

I also built fill-in triangle panels for the rear engine compartment, (between the exhaust and the wheels).

I have read, probably here, that the spinning rear tires build up a high pressure curtain that prevents air from exiting out the rear grills in the engine compartment when the car is at speed.

It's well worth doing rear aero work , I've done a massive amount to get rid of hot air and prevent lift .

Oh awesome, I'll definitely do that. Do you have the 2D drawings by any chance?
