Has anyone imported these lights? If so, are you happy with them?

Thanks
Gary

You mean US Hyundai Sonata lamps, not legal and won't fit

Yep, the only real alternative was the Marcos ones, unfortunately they went bust.

The costs of design and tooling to produce some new rear lamps is prohibitive in such small volumes

Maybe in your eye's... I remade my rear clam and took moulds but I didn't change to the US lights as I much prefer the Ford ones... a little tint and they look really good imho

The US (hyundai) ones will fit if you cut and remake your clam to fit.

I'm changing the rear clam slightly in December and just trying to make my mind up. I have bought some Lotus exige lights already so I'll probably go with them.

Thanks
Gary

That'll have to be more than slightly

I've got a set of these Rossion lights boxed. There was a guy on here with a purple M12 who photographed the mod, think the cars sold on now. What's illegal about them?

This rear lights issue thingy is going to run and run until someone figures it out and just makes a set...lol!! I've been reading about the Marcos ones, the Rossion ones, the tinted Mondeo ones (mine, they're better but I still hate them ) We should see who really wants a set, pinch the mould off that Blue 3r that has them and then commission someone to make the fibreglass mould. smile

It's about time someone imported a Rossion to the UK. I'd love to see one in the flesh.

surely they should be carbon? smile

For the first time ever Im tempted to remake the rear lights now, after mine had some earthing issues due to age related corrosion over the weekend I want all new now. trouble is I don't like the American or the Marcos ones frown

Who, me?

They're bonded in, I'd have to destroy them to get them out.
