Gents. Help appreciated.

Broken down. At lights, engine died. Still has power (radio works etc). Ignition turns on but fuel pump doesn't prime. Starter motor turns but engine won't catch. Fuel gauge says it has fuel.

It's been wet today. A short somewhere?

Any help appreciated.

Try the 15 amp fuse under rear clam as it primes fuel pump first port off call followed by 2 ecu fuses nxt to it

Try the relays on bulk head. Mine used to have bit of a lose connection on bottom going in to the base of the relay. One of the last two

Thanks all. Have replaced the relays in the bulk. One connection is loose but fiddled with it while the ignition was on and didn't manage to get it priming.

Some relay is clicking but can't tell which.

Dave's on the line giving me a hand.

Worse case Mark it's a pump failure but as the guys have suggested my money is on a relay or fuse , have you done the fuel pump wireing upgrade !
Check fuse if you have needs to be 20amp for a 044 .

Thanks all for the input. Fuses on bulkhead are fine. Relays have been replaced. Pump doesn't seem to be getting any power when the ignition is on so hope it's not a bust pump. Will let you know where I come out.

I had this issue, the ecu wouldn't prime the pump but it would run when needed if engine was bumped... It was the ecu and had a £250 repair done at mbe.

Check the two-wire connector on the engine harness - should be over near the relays, near the other two white connectors.

+1 think it is called fuel pump trigger wire. Disconnected mine last year by a shredded alternator belt!
