Hi,

I use a CTEK Mxs 3.6,

I think the CTEK range is meant to be one of the best when it comes to charging and conditioning.

You can also get an adaptor to charge using the cigarette lighter socket.

They also have a five year guarantee.

Neil.

Another for the c-tek chargers. Really good bit of kit, decent connections and a good quality charger. Seems to do the trick.

Another Ctek user here, I have one of these:

Paid about half that price from eBay though. And I use the cigarette lighter adapter too.

Ctek is what I'm looking for as I knew that's what most people use. Problem is there are loads of models.

So after the one that does the job. Don't need to be over kill though.

Cheers

Just looking at purchasing one of these and was wondering whether its a good idea to charge via the cigarette lighter,Will it damage the wiring?

The cigarette lighter fuse is 10amps, the maximum the CETEK 3.6 will charge at is 3.6amps, that would be a dead flat battery and slowly reducing as battery charges, so wiring should be fine.

I swear by, but not at, C-Tek's and have two. The most recent is the CTEK XS 0.8. at £40. They have more powerful models but this is all you'll need smile

FYI, a mate uses another well know brand re-labelled as Ferrari and recommened by Fezza themselves - it has melted two batteries so far so he's getting a C-Tek now wink
