3ltr inlet manifold
Discussion
Have you 3.0 owners seen this inlet manifold. I was just trying to find if there was a difference between the ST24 ans ST200 lower manifolds and came across this from turbo hoses:
The pic is on a noble, this will prevent the cracking of the plastics inlet.

Throttle body, upper and lower inlet manifolds were different on the ST200, IIRC.
In Ford circles, the answer seems to be ST220 bottom end, ST200 top end. Can't comment on the Noble world and turbos!
Off topic slightly as the reason for this post was to just give the 3.0 guys another option. In Ford circles, the answer seems to be ST220 bottom end, ST200 top end. Can't comment on the Noble world and turbos!
However, what is the difference between the ST24 and ST200 lower manifold?

Throttle body went from 56 to 60mm.
ETA - sorry, saw the post and thought you were asking that too.

ST24 LIM was 32/34mm, whilst the ST200 was 33/35.

Thanks for the info. I'm sure there was a reason not to change my LIM when I upgraded to the ST200 UIM on my 2.5. I think it might have been because Noble already changed it? Might take off UIM and measure just to see if I'm missing a bit more power. Throttle body went from 56 to 60mm.

Have a vague recollection the Mustang throttle body is even larger...

Ive already made an inlet plenum for the 3ltr.pics were posted a while bak, needed to be mapped to make it work, but early testing looked and was positive.just put it on the back burner,as i had other things to do.so its been done.
Indeed but not herd anything for a while and not sure I had seen this one before. No good for me but thought some might be interested. Adrian W said:

It's around 4k although claimed to give 80bhp over stock!
With no other changes has someone added a zeroI'd stick with the one from Ford!

Tonyvan, I'm sure you are a really nice bloke and you certainly have a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm when it comes to nobles. But every time i read one of your posts it either starts with or ends with 'so its already been done' or i've already done it type remark.
Chill out you have got nothing to prove! so i'm not quite sure why feel the need to act as if you do!
It comes across as if your remarks have an air of i've already done it, i'm one step ahead so don't bother feel to them. Which seems crazy. Im sure that if you sit down and think about it most things we do in life have already been done before by someone somewhere , so lets all give up and not bother. lol
