Bleeding Coolant!

Hi all,

Does anyone have any useful tips on bleeding the coolant system on a Noble. I'm doing mine in the next week and wanted to avoid any known issues.

Never had a problem when I changed mine. Takes a while to get all the air out but it all comes out naturally.

My mechanic used a MityVac when we filled mine:

We then pressure tested the system once filled and found over a dozen hose clamps were leaking (we had just replaced all the coolant hoses with silicon from ACT). The clamps I used were the heavy duty Mikalor type and in the end we binned the whole lot (£80 worth!) and went with regular Jubilee clips instead, doubling up on some ends through the tunnel.

A little tip to help is to keep the nose on the floor but jack up the rear as high as possible , this helps the air get to the header tank , you will need to leave overnight to get best results .

Is there a drain plug anywhere or is it a case of removing a low hanging pipe?

Just take off the bottom radiator hose, it's easy to get on and you can get a tray next to it to catch the old stuff easily.
