Well, we are very close to launching a new small satellite that is controlled by an on board smart phone as a technology demonstration. It's Called STRAND. .

(See Bbc2 on the 8th-10th at 8pm each night, Star Gazing)

My company have asked everyone at work to give a picture that will be displayed on the phone while in space. The phone will cycle through all the pictures.

So, if you don't mind I submitted this picture so we can all be space men. Lol

I'm not sure but I think there will be a link to a camera on the satellite so we can see the pictures.

Typical, rocket scientists are all the same!

[Not that I'm jealous that you can be called a rocket scientist, nope, not at all, nothing here, move along]

I don't know. Never found that out. I do have contact details of the original owner so could ask if I wanted to.

You can just make out my back wheel and open clam on the right hand side in the pits.

I imagine outer space will be very impressed with that genuine green UFO!

Missed last nights due to a 11KV overhead failure that took out the entire village for 16 hours. Was it on then as will need to get from catchup download if so.

Remember, this isn't launched yet. The small satellite is only on the show, so I think it's videos of our place and it being built.

It wasn't on last night so might be tonight or tomorrow (we don't know when)

Once it's launched later in the year and operating (assuming it works ok as it's been built on a shoe string and with the university) I will let you know of the link to see it in space.

Does anyone have a decent resolution version of the original Rockingham photo I could have. I believe my red M400 is the one on the second row.

Thanks
Andrew
