After my engine let go at the ring in august I had my car recovered and was supplied a Peugeot 207, while driving through Haarlem near Amsterdam I must have wound the diesel weapon up and broke the speed limit by 15km/h. Ill pop up the letter I received from europcar today

My question to you lads is, have you been done in Europe I'm sure a few of you have smile ) and what in your opinion should i do? is it like in the uk where i should ask for proof of photo and calibration or is that a waste of time? Will I get points on my uk licence?

Cheers

Graham

Been Zapped loads of times in France with RV with the Landcruiser on the trailer especially cos it aint limited like trucks but 18 meters long and sets off the weight sensors on the auto route at 22 tons allup, never had a ticket yet, been zapped lots in the voyager since 2008 and never paid a penny as they as yet cant chase foreigners it only applies to residents of the country.Holland used to be the same when we used to race supermoto out there got blasted in the racecruiser on a few occasions with no penalty, but you are in dutch plated car so might leave you open to slap in this case just pay the fine they cant give you points in this country yet for overseas offences but its supposed to be coming in the next year or so .
Hope this helps you bad boys biggrin

Two options if you want:

1. Use babelfish.com to see if you can get an understanding of it.
2. Scan it and I'll ask my Dutch friends to translate.
