ECU's for Dummies

Jetstream have just sent an ECU down to me via a friend to swap out with my own and I've not got a clue where it is on the car!
Didn't see it in the passenger footwell nor under either clam, so where's the little bu99er hiding and what am I up against changing it?
p.s. Dave has put my map in it so all should tie in ok.

Drivers side between the bulkhead and wheel. You can access it much better if you take off the wheel and inner arch panels.
