Alarm problems .... finally!
Discussion
Well after 7 months of trouble-free alarm operation mine finally decided to play up tonight!
- Firstly the interior lights won't swith off at all (so I've set them both to the off position for now)
- When I arm the car it bleeps three times loudly and then will go off - sometimes.
Thought I'd start with an alarm reset later (but I canlt see how this would fix the light thing!).
Any other ideas please?

That's easy.
One of your switches in the door has failed. The reason the interior light is on is that it thinks one of the doors are open.
When you alarm a car with either a door or the bonnet / boot open it beeps 3 times to let you know that there is still something opened.
The two are therefore related.
Give each micro switch (they are in the door A pillars, and the one at the rear is just behind the rear window) a squirt with WD40 and rapidly press them in/out to see if you can free them up. If not you'll need a replacement but they are easy to get out and Halfors will have a spare one for you.

Thanks Maestro, that's what I was thinking too! All switches cleaned and found to be working perfectly - problem traced to a badly fitted passenger door not pushing the switch in quite far enough (so, as you say, the alarm thinks a door is open!) - stuck a sticky pad on the door for now!
Thanks again for your comments .
