Checking into PH from the Sunny Maldives! This has to be the slowest internet connection I've ever used - Joust, get your deriere in gear and get broadband installed out here! Business-class lounge my arse, it's taken me half an hour to send two emails!

Oh well, back to Blighty tomorrow am - hopefully my mate Rob hasn't stuffed the Noble while I've been away. Haven't even seen a car for two weeks - hopefully I'll remember which bit does what when I get behind the wheel again... must admit that it's just about the only thing I'm looking forward to about being home!

Not relevant to Nobles - but we've always meant to go Maldives and can now fly Emirates via Dubai from Glasgow.

Where do you recommend for relax plus some gentle diving?

Sorry matey - no plans to go out there with our connections

There doesn't appear to be hardly any WiFi hotspots out there either!

Brian,

Me and the Mrs have been twice. Great change from Aberdeen!

We stayed at Laguna Beach and Nakatchafusi. Laguna was brill, your own stretch of beach, nice accomodation etc. Busier than Nakatcha, but Nakatcha was also 10 out of 10.

Tip.... Always take the fully inclusive options for food and bar etc. Saw a guy spend over 1k on his bar bill for 2 weeks! Also, you have to go diving !

was there 3 years ago with wife and kids...2 weeks of perfect sailing and diving visiting a different resort/island every other day (including laguna...v.nice)...the best holiday I've ever had, and some of the best diving...don't understand why sunsail don't sell it anymore

...maybe had something to do with all those coral reefs causing havoc with the keels
