Yippee.
I've just got insured for an extra 4000 miles having blown away my original annual estimate in 5 months.
£51 for the pleasure. Bargain.

Rob,
It was direct line. I was adding 4000 to the original 8000. So good for them. But I am not happy with the fact that they did not accept my proof of 6 years NCB. That cost me over £400.
Chris.

How can an insurer not accept your proof? I thought their industry agreed to recognise each other's letters of entitlement.

I suspect that they did accept Chris's NCB bit on his first vehicle only?! This is the problem if you've two, or more, cars - you really need the second insurer to take account of your NCB (even though your first has too - otherwise the second car premium gets very high!).

Yup

Had the same problem, so insured first car, ultra speedy Vectra with hi octane LPG, insured by the company.
