I'm getting married in September and it would be my mans dream to turn up at the church in a Noble. he used to have a Lotus but had to sell it when he got made redundant and how he misses his nice car. I know he likes the Nobles best of all tho.

I guess what I'm asking is if anyone has any bright ideas how I could surprise him by hiring a Noble for the day for him to drive to the church and back. Given that his best man has to go with him it might not be practical for someone to drive him there - and I know he'd much prefer to drive it than be a passenger!

I know owners are going to be reluctant to say the least to let their babies into someone elses care for the day, but maybe just maybe if we sort out mega insurance and make it financially worth their while someone might go for it?

Otherwise if anyone knows where you can hire them through a company, I'd be grateful for any info you might have.

Sorry if this is a stupid request, just trying to sort a nice surprise.

Cheers x

Dammit!
I had their business card until recently. They had two Nobles at Le Mans (silver & black). These were the two cars that tagged onto the rear of the Drivers Parade.
I'll see if I can find out a name.
Chris
PS. Where and exactly when is the happy day.

I think Damon Hill's P1 Company hires out sports cars including nobles .It's definitely worth contacting them and they could probably work out a deal for you

Good luck

The silver and black cars are run by: www.x-factor-uk.com

www.cpatrackdays.co.uk also run a Noble though I have no idea if they hire them for general road use.

This link may prove useful too www.pistonheads.com/trackdays/carhire.asp

Unfortunatly, the P1 club isn't availble to the general public and memebership is by invitation only.

No worries, the graphics on the Xfactor cars make them hard to forget!

I saw one of their cars at Vegantune, the whole thing is wired from tip to toe in cameras - I'm sure they could provide some interesting wedding footage!

Hi Guys Thanks for all your brilliant suggestions - they're ace, I'll certainly follow up the links and get in touch with the guys at Noble's press office.

The wedding is on Saturday the 18th September in Buckingham, the distance to be travelled could be as little as three miles (between reception hotel and ceremony venue), if it was someone's pride and joy, or if I end up splashing out on hiring for the day maybe he could drive it from his brother's house in Evesham down to Bucks. For any Noble owners gamely contemplating making a few quid I would add that he has a clean licence and as an ex-sports car owner he knows just how expensive even the tiniest ding can be!

Thanks again for taking the time to reply.
Cheers

I'm in Bucks, i'm sure we could arrange something if it's a free bar

Maybe a 12 Noble salute would be the order of the day, as is regularly organised by the TVRCC when Tiv owners tie the knot!
