Not that I'm bothered but, I wonder how the South African's feel about not getting the M14?!

According to an article in yesterday's Times...

"Designer-cum-tycoon, Lee Noble has seen critical and sales success with his burgeoning line-up of Noble sports cars. The latest, the M14, will be built at his Leicester (Leicestershire?) headquarters, but other models, such as the M12 and M400 are partially manufacturered in South Africa".

Nice to know that Lee is being recognised as a tycoon - possibly the first in the tea industry! LOL

At the show they said they hadn't made up their mind so that's news to me..

Give the disparity in labour rates and the excellent quality of chassis and body fabrication I'll doubt if those bits will be done in the UK???

I believe only the Noble body shell is made in South Africa, which is make of plastic type stuff.
It just could be that the M14 is using a body material
(like Carbon Fiber)not available in South Africa.

If you look around at the various pictures of cars that have come from SA at the factory you'll find they are fully built cars just 'sans' engine.

Any bespoke interior and the engine are then fitted here, as are any other changes from the "standard" cars.
