That has all the supercar " wow" factor that the coupe hasn't.

Looks a lot better than the coupe, although it seems to have no hard points for a roof and as such is going to look silly with a roof.

That's the problem with "chopping away a coupe" to create a convertible, they often look great with all the stuff gone, pants when a roof is finally worked out (aflicts even the Murchi convertible that problem)

Alas look at a spyder and you'll see the tell tail change to the top of the a-pillar to give the mount point, and the different rear given the fabric needs to clear the rollover hoop at the same time bolt into the bodywork. If you did that in this styling exercise the hood would crease at the b-pillar and droop, as well as giving a "stupid" droopy straight line across from the A to the B pillar.

As I said, the Murchi suffered from this because it is just a A to B pillar bit of fabric, and it looks a bit (nay, a total disaster) of poo when up, despite looking the dogs dangly bits when dowm.

Et. voila.

Convertibles are a bh for a whole host of reasons to get right - chopping a coupe often looks right, until you then either put in neoprene seats, or try and fit a roof.

In truth does it actually matter what a convertible looks like with the roof on ??

Still thinks it suits the M600 !!!

Yes :-) ,they spend most of their life with the roof on.
It still looks good without a roof though, but I always prefer when they leave a centre section of fof and make two removable hard top panels either side that can slide behind the seats.

So doesn't the m600 come with roll bars then? Or have they been removed for this pic?

go on chris - you know you want to convert yours !!

to be fair you live in the right country for a convertible

perhaps you could get the dremel out and convert it to a removable hard top

Are you sure? Most convertibles of this ilk wouldn't leave a heated garage if there was even a hint of rain in the air. Hell my Noble doesn't leave the garage if there's a hint of rain in the air!!

Whats point of having an M600 if its not for driving i say smile

Don't tempt me mike smile..only thing stopping me is destroying the lovely alcantara roof, i already planned out a rubber seal system, i think its a good idea but would be more of a double sunroof than convertible, i may do it one day.
