New owner - items wanted.. parts resources??? Help please!

Hi everyone..

I`ve just got myself a M12 and intend to rebuild it. Mechanically its fine but I want to make it look better inside and out and intend to give it a full respray and interior retrim after refurbing whats underneath. I`ve done loads of searching and come up with some parts that look of interest but am drawing a blank on sources for Noble parts/aftermarket items.
The items I`m looking to address are as follows if anybody can advise..

1) I am looking to perhaps replace the door cards with carbon fibre items. I know a good carbon fibre specialist local to me who can do bespoke items but I have no drivers door card for reference.. does anybody know of a firm that already supply them in carbon or are there any others interested in a group buy for some?

2) Also, I am looking to get some M400 side ducts or even get some mde up in carbon again.. anyone know where these can be found or again anyone interested in a group buy?

3) My rear spoiler is weathered and requires re-lacquering or recovering.. anyone done this before or is it better to buy new?

4) I have seen some pictures of early twin light M12`s with covers over the headlamps and indicator (as per Tuxman) does anyone know where I can get these?

5) My car needs repairs to the lower wheelarch areas where stones have taken their toll.. is there availabilty of the carbon protectors I`ve seen (I`ve asked on the thread but no reply yet).

6) Finally.. any other must have external parts I should be looking for?

The only issue with replacing the door cards with Carbon is that they probably vary slightly from car to car. That means if you spend the money getting them made, chances are they will only fit your car. They will also be more uncomfortable than Alcantara for example

I think you can still get the side scoops from Noble. Fibreglass only though. There is talk on here of having some carbon items made, but i would not hold your breath.

Go and see Jetstream before you paint it. There is chance it can be saved. They rub it down and re-lacquer. It will depend on how bad yours is though

We are trying to get more made, Unsure of the status of this at the moment. I think there was mention of some being ready in a few weeks

Speak to Serban at Rossion. They are only plastic, but someone had wrapped them in carbon.


I would personally start on reliability things rather than body-work.
Fuel pump upgrade and wiring is an absolute must as is having an Aftermarket exhaust

Thanks for the reply Jules. The car is pretty good mechanically and I'm pretty sure has most of the necessary mods already done.. Exhaust, track day sump, replacement Ecu and inboard wiring, etc. It just requires some tlc in the aforementioned areas but I would like to do it all once and then prevent any further issues with the stone guards and such.
