Footwell side panels

I'm sure this is probably a dumb question, but, how do you get the side panels out in the footwells?

I want to run cables through the flexi connectors into the doors but can't see how?

There is a L shaped splash guard in the wheel arch which gives access to a void between A panel and footwell side plate, if you put you hand up you will notice you can reach over and into the void, this is what connects the sills and in turn the engine bay to the cabin.
To fit my electric windows i removed the l shape access panel in the wheel arch to make it easier but if you feed wires thrugh from the door you can feel over from the footwell and pull it through, the footwell plate is riveted to the chassis so it is not designed for being removed..

I don't seem to have many pics of the void that connects the cabin to the sills..but it is also where the you access the back of the door hinge connections..

This pic shows with access panel off so what you are seeing is inside the door pillar, the wires are just above where this pic finishes, the wires simply go over the top of the footwell side plate and into the fuse area..you will need to remove the stereo to get easier access for routing wires.




This pic show L shaped access panel in place, it is screwd on but may have a bit of sealant..but still should come off easily.

I presume you mean from inside the footwell?

I didn't think I could do that - must be my short fat arms!
