I was reading a article in FHM on my hols, about the Editor being loaned a Noble 3R for the Gumball.....for those of you who didnt read it...it went something like this (it was short, however, this is my edited version)

FHM Editor blags Noble Supercar........Editor brags to FHM staff 'I could win this'............FHM Editor comes last in Gumball.......FHM staff 'support crew' take piss out of Editor all the way home....

Typically funny in the FHM vain....would love to know the full story if anyone knows it.

I was there, in a Lotus, and if it's who I think it was, I am keeping quiet. However, a another Noble did compete and finished, not last, in fact, no were near last.

At the first check point, a private test track, he damaged every panel.

CRAP driver springs to mind.

Oh, and I got to the end and made 1k for Yorkshire Cancer Research.

This happened nearly a year ago, and went in FHM last autumn. Hardly breaking news.

The editor claimed the car's engine kep cutting out, which put him last. The following week, we took the same car to Bruntingthorpe and drove it flat out for a day to try and re-create the problem, but it didn't miss a beat. And hasn't for the last 20k miles!

In fairness, I think FHM included my findings in side panel in their feature.
