I'm doing my first longish trip today, to Rockingham race circuit, Corby.

I was surprised to learn that the Noble doesn't come with any form of breakdown cover at all. Very strange but also a tiny bit reassuring (touch wood).

Can anybody recommend which one to join that perhaps has a bit of knowledge about Nobles ?

Ta in advance.

I am insured by Tesco, they offer breakdown service for, I think, £60.00, and it is very comprehensive. Ask your insurance company if they can do the same.

Kind regards

Ash.

I've had to use breakdown services three times, twice from home and once on the road. Each time I have used the AA and found them more helpful than expected. I think their mechanics fall over themselves to get their hands on something unusual, especialy a Noble. Even when the cause is something they can't deal with (last one was a large oil leak that needed undertray removed before fixing), they will still attend so they can get a look. Last AA mechanic said he knew he wouldn't be able to help but 'was in the area' and thought he might learn something about a Noble's innards, which he'd not seen before. They also love the weight (lack of) of the car, which makes it easier to push around.

Bottom line is, unless there are 'specialists' out there, and sod's law says their not there when needed, the safest bet is just to arrange towing (flatbed transporter) back to the factory or in my case to MV. Have now learnt to expect a call from Tracker after 2 or 3 mins, asking if the car's been nicked!
