AA parts and labour cover
Discussion
I know some of you have this and have used it successfully.
I have it and tried to claim today but they said they if I don't actually breakdown then it is not covered.
I can't have discovered the fault myself, or have taken it to a garage and they discovered it before any damage was done.
FYI it is a manifold I want to replace, it has some minor cracks appearing. So the AA are not covering it - how did you go about getting a claim in?

You have to call them out. I had smoke coming from a turbo and called than out saying I was worried to drive it as it wasn't right. I then had a claim
I think Bondy might have got lucky, My manifolds where discovered at NMS, NOT following a breakdown, NMS argued it for me but to no avail, I might have got impatient in the end and just coughed up.Clutch on the other hand disintegrated and I did get a replacement on the AA warranty (Gold). They wouldnt cover the clutch slave cylinder though.
I'm not lucky as I've been claiming from them for a few years now.
I just know how to follow their rules.
I now have to pay a surcharge as I use them so much. lol
Called them out the other day for the alternator belt coming off. Guess i'll be claiming for the work needed to get the pulleys ligned up correctly
