search is down as per usual, does any helpful person out there know the best settings for an M400 that is more track orientated,

Ive heard 1mm toe out front and 2mm in on the rears but would like confirmation.

I dont want to go crazy camber wise but looking for advise really, not worried about tyre wear but prefer it not to be twitchy.

Cheers

Graham - front and rear toe look fine. I've moved to 2 degrees of -ve camber at the front as I was scrubbing the outside edges off my precious Trofeos with 1.75 degrees. At the rear, I've gone back down from 3 degrees to 2.5 as with original lower wishbone and drive shaft, I could hear the dreaded grinding noise when cornering (Swanz curve at Donny)with a bootful of power. If you have modified rear wishbones (or the shorter drive shaft) then it will take 3 degrees easily.

This was direct from Dave at the factory.
The tracking on the M400 is 1mm out each front wheel and 2mm in on the rear, as the rear can only be adjusted by half a turn on the rose joint this affects how close to 2mm toe in you can get, half a turn on the rose joint equals 1.5mm of toe at the wheel.

I would not go over 2 deg neg on the rear unless you have modified lower wishbones or the bearing will get stressed.

2mm to 3mm total toe out front.

4mm to 6mm total toe in rear.

With rose joint you can angle an additional +- 15deg rotation.. on top of the half turn which helps get the toe closer to tolerance as it gives you an additional 0.5mm of play... with modified turnbuckle this is not an issue..

i found that running 1.5 neg front and 1.8 neg rear was a good compromise between road and track..
