LED Indicators for early headlights?
Discussion
Hi All,
Has anyone ever put LED indicators into the early noble (2.5/GTO - old style headlights)
I bought the below but not working at all...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_tr...
As with any standard bulb, I had to remove one of the offset contacts to make it fit, but nothing.
Anyone have any links to ones that they have bought previously please?
Thanks
Steve

Sorry, just re read post.
There are no indicators in the GTO style head lights. I assume you just mean in the indicators.
I tried them all round and they flashed but very slow and messed circuit up.
Sorry yeah, I just mean front indicators on the front CAM. I am putting the headlight covers/indicator covers on so just want to upgrade so not to have to cut the indicator cover out anytime soon to change a bulb. There are no indicators in the GTO style head lights. Did mine last weekend. Moved the indicator fittings to the inside of the clam (I can now get to the bulb without removing the lens) and substituted an LED bulb. I had the same problem, the LED indicator bulb wouldnt work and the flasher relay just went mad. My lad came home, called me a numpty, swapped the 2 wires round and hey presto the LED's work perfectly - I'd gone and bought resistors and all but didn't need any of it.
Fitting the lenses was tricky, but if you follow Paul's instructions and take your time you can get a really tidy finish. Have some brake and clutch cleaner to hand to clean up the Thickaflex as it's a ba$£@rd to get off when it's dried.
Headlight covers and HID kit this weekend.

Steve, I believe these are what Tux has:
http://www.s-v-c.co.uk/product/ultrabright-inner-l...
I highly recommend http://www.hids4u.co.uk/ if you haven't already bought your HID kit yet. Not the cheapest but very good quality. The ballasts look/feel far more substantial than others I've seen. The difference between the standard bulbs and one of their kits on a 3R really is like night and day!

Is that all that was needed. No relay etc. have u a pic wired so I can see what u did.
Also
By changing these at the front, did it mess with the flashing speed of the std rears?
Cheers
No relay mate , without the resister pack they flash too fast hence why you have too fit it . Also
