...well almost

I've agreed a deal on an orginal 2.5GTO (I just had to have those chattering darth vaders)
10k miles, well looked after, titanium example (with ECU upgrade) for a price, well, lets just say it might as well be trade.

going on hols for 2 weeks and will pick it up soon thereafter....

...no longer will I feel like the (made to feel welcome, but nonetheless...) alien interloper!

and no longer to I have to miss out on the noble experience while awaiting news on the M12 Targa.

Counting the hours (or should that be seconds?)

I know how you feel Morten, I've been waiting for over a year now! Still, only 9 days to go now...

Thanks Ash,

could be

test drove it back to back with a GTO3, and while the later car feels more grown up...it is the noise of those turbos that stirs my soul and there isn't sufficient difference in feel/performance for me to warrant paying at least 9k more (or 30%) for the privilege.

I am a happy man.

You should have what I did...ordered a 3R with the torbos/filters in the original positions! Martin

All good advice, but chances of getting a 3 litre M12 for less than 30k are...well about zero...at least for another 12m.

...no I'll happily bank the saving for an M12 targa or M14 a little later along the line.
