Christopher Neil's "Worried"
Discussion
Micknall has suggested that I have them service my Noble.
I am slightly worried. Have a look at the Lotus BBS

First things first, this was a Lotus not a Noble.
Secondly this is with regards to sale of a second hand Lotus.
I'm not worried since my Noble was brand new.
Ok there is an issue of trust here. I am putting the North Dealer for Noble in charge of servicing my car on Wednesday. I have no reason to believe they will not do a good job. I leave it in there hands.
Perhaps there are legal reasons that we do not know as to why they couldn't discuss this with the potential buyer, etc, etc. I'm no expert but I thought it would have been registered as a CAT C if it had a chassis repair. Ergo no matter if they are a "good dealer" its always down to the buyer to do the HPI checks to be sure.
I've heard many good reports about Christopher Neil and as yet have no reason to worry.

I have had my Exige serviced at CN's and bought a Tamora from them before the Noble,.,,never had any problems at all. The service is A1. I think the Lotus is an unfortunate problem for them. Cant keep everyone happy unfortunately.
Taking the Noble in for first service on Friday..have a suprisingly small snagging list!

As an update I got my car back today after its 1000k service with Christoper Neil's. Total cost £78.00
The minor niggles as follows:
Headlights fogging - have been resealed but apparently it is a common fault. Would like to see it fixed though as it does look bad.
instrument cluster - bulbs replaced - all ok now
engine stalling when air con on - Engine idle speed raised slightly and now ok.
CN also noticed a little seal on the windscreen wasn't right. So put it right during the service.
I can't believe thats the only problems I had for a 1000k service. I remember going onto page after page with my TVR's. Well done Noble.
My car was returned to me in a very clean and tidy condition and on time as promised. The staff were very pleasant too. Well done CN.
NOTE: My car doesn't leak, starts first time, runs perfectly and nothing has fallen off. Total contrast to my previous experiences. Oh and now that I can go above 4000 rpm everything just makes me smile even more. I am one happy person tonight.

Lucozade, did you have the top plastic headlamp covers refitted, or just the inner units?
Resealed from the back was the comment I got. CN not sure that will cure it though. Need some direction from the factory to be honest.
Do a search for the headlights. We've all been/are there already.
