Anyone using redex or similar ?
I'm thinking cleanliness and protection here, not performance enhancers.
Does it work or is it a con ?!

Based on the independent tests I have seen (notably evo magazine a couple of years back), long-term use of Optimax is one of the best things you can do to your engine internals, and would eliminate the need for Redex and the like.

Hand book says 97, factory say 95 is fine, I choose to use BP 97 after reading loads of stuff on scoobynet about people getting det with Optimax.

They do but still get det under high load leading to melted pistons

Friend of mine has something called knocklink which lights up his dashboard like a set of christmas lights.

You can't have too many lights and gauges. That's why I asked a long time ago about what ECU the 3R's have and what you can get out of the 9 way d connector. I believe it's disabled
