Price swung it - not bothered about wet performance as I have 2 sets of wheels, a 5 day forcast and a new low entry trolley jack
Everyone seems to rave about the tyres they have, Corsas, ZZRs or Yokos, there is no general feeling that one tyres is head and shoulders above the rest. Having spoken to a man in the know there are reasons Noble chose the Corsas that aren't in keeping with what I want in a tyre so I figured I'd take a chance and once I have the Nitrons we can do some back to back testing to decide upon the owners favourites
Even on standard suspension they make a big difference, turn in is better and the steering weights up more under load, maybe a placebo effect but I've been carrying far more speed into corners
Maybe I'll change my mind if I get caught in a storm

Yeah they should definitely feel better even on standard suspension. Its the risk of hitting the bump stops that makes it less than ideal
Elise owners love AO48s and I've witnessed first hand how much grip they give one.

I take it your Elise did NOT have these on when you took me for a SPIN at North Weald then?
Martin.
So much trash talk from someone with no proven skills. I look forward to waving at you in the kitty litter
