The speedo packed in !

Anybody know if there is a fuse/relay/easy way to fix the speedo. If its just a wet sensor I'm hoping I can sort it myself. I don't fancy the 120 mile round trip to get something as simple as this fixed.

Oh and in the meantime, anyone with a 3R kindly tell me what speed I'm doing at what revs in what gear !, best given me examples of 30,50,60,70 mph. ta.

(praying this aint going to be like my TVR !)

We are aware that the speedo's sensor (mounted near the F/O/S wheel) can sometimes be affected by water ingress, typically after a blast with a jet wash, or in heavy rain. It's something we're looking to improve!

However, when the sensor has dried out, it should perform normally.

FYI, in top gear the 3R runs at 26.5mph per 1000rpm.

Many thanks Simon,

A surprisingly prompt response - would never have got that from TVR !
