Going to see Natalies GTO 3R on Tuesday. If it as good as the ad says, I will be taking her.

Lotus sold, frustrated and have the need for speed.

Ashley-

I would love to hear your impressions of the Noble vs Lotus ownership inregards to reliability, drive, etc... Which year Lotus did you own?

It was an Elise 135R Sport, 1 year old this month.

I am used to more power and was a bit dissapointed once I got used to it. She was fantastice, especially in the corners, but just miss the top end grunt.

I believe that the Noble is the only machine that can overtake a Lotus on a bend and has lots of grunt.

Hope I am right.

Oh, and one last thing. I did the Gumball in the elise, 6k miles in one week. And she did not miss a beat. So in terms of reliability, the Lotus is rock solid and did me proud. Lotus should be congratulated.

Lots of Trouble Usually Serious is definitely not the case.

Ashley,

I had a Lotus 340R and was sad to let her go but my wife had enough of open top motoring! Brilliant car that never missed a beat even with the full upgrades onto it. The guy who bought it at Peter Smith's in Derby had a mega deal. Once I got to know the lotus guys at the factory I had no problems with phone calls but prior to that, a nightmare to get someone to call you back.

So far so good at Noble, Simon and the guys have been very helpful. When the Lotus went, the only car for me was the M12 - 3R. Big hole in Lotus just now with no mid sized sports car!

Ashley,
I went from an Elise to a 3R earlier this year. The Elise was faultless and came twice to Le Mans. Last month the 3R went to and from Le Mans and then back to the Continent again for the Supercarrun, where (lets say) I didn't hold back. No worries at all, even on the mountain passes.

Hmm got an email from Ash, and its only a 5 speed. Eek!

To be honest I don't think its particularly cheap. I just think a few people are a little optimistic on their pricing. Which is why their cars have been for sale for 5 months How someone can ask 48k for a year old 3R when you can get one brand new and specced for that from some of the ex-dealers stuck with stock I don't know!

Hi Dan

And all.

I have changed my mind. Done a stunning deal with an ex dealer. Pick up on Sat.

Dan, I think you a correct, the deal I did proves it.
