Well, it's confirmed.....my ECU has failed
and it's finally died half an hour before the factory shuts for a 2 week break

I don't suppose anyone has got an original MM ecu lying about in the garage !!! ..........

Owen, in a word - Bummer! Suggest you ring around ALL the dealers and also ask Vegantune for their advice!

Should be able to keep it going by winding the throttle stop out a bit.

The dealers are all pointing me to the factory. I can't see the point in getting a replacement Magnet Morelli ECU. I think i'll just have to cough up and have the Wiring Loom and ECU upgraded to the new one.
This will of course leave me able to have the power upgrade...... hmmm....

Sounds like the way forward. Just make sure you are sitting down with a stiff drink when you get the quote

Extra grunt will come in handy for Millbrook though

Does it have to be from Noble? Can you source it elsewhere from the Part No?

I had this problem with my Ducati. Unavailable and £660+VAT. Local dealer, same part no, £280.00 inc VAT.

HTH, but ignore me if it doesn't

Owen,
I'm in the same boat as you. I thought my car was being delivered to Mole Vally tomorrow(Saturday) and I would get it on Thursday(registering,Armourfend & detector) but now, due to a hiccough, it won't be ready 'till after the factory break.
Martin.

Mine failed the day I flew down to pick up the car. US car and problem is very common.
I also had the power steering hose let go and I now have a problem with the wheel bearings and rotors (after 400 miles a second set of wheel bearings are letting go).
