Hi, I've just bought a 3R and wondered if anyone had removed the rear lights from the body? If so how is this achieved? Simple screw fitment?

You unscrew em ;-).

Actually, this only works if they aren't rusted, which they will be eventually (needs more protection from water). In which case you have to trash the screws to get the cluster out and put new screws in.

Looking at the black plastic box and screw fitments at the back it looks totally sealed with black sealant from the factory. Wouldn't know how to change a bulb without breaking the seal.

Just guessing here, but suspect it involves a large tube of sealant to redo it all afterwards Low volume cars eh?!

Have changed a few of the rear lights already and not an easy job(especially in the dark)! Definitely need a tube of sealant to re-seal after cutting off the old stuff to get the cover off. Undo screws preferably with ratchet as space is tight then cut around sealant. Should come off quite easily after that! Just Squeeze sealant around base afterwards and push down tightly(avoiding screw holes).
