After a few laps of Brands Hatch last week I noticed that my throttle was sticking, it later stuck open, causing a technical breakdown - the outer cable casing was touching part of the forward turbo unit and melted, causing the inner cable to seize - this only took a few vigorous laps. It could have caused an enlightening situation should the throttle have stuck wide open on the track, perhaps whilst entering a bend! Suggest you inspect your routing and ensure that the cable isn't sitting on the turbocharger!

That said, it was worth the 12 month wait to get to blast R77 around a track - what fun - I even had it sliding and squealing on the bends, which is something I never thought I'd be confident enough to do!

BTW, Mole Valley were superb - they immediately ordered a new cable, after my distress call from the pits, added extra heat-proofing and rerouted the cable - I had the car back in 24 hours!

Glad to hear of good support from the Moles. I've had my differences with them, but they now do seem to be trying to iron out our problems. Can't wait to get out on the track. R101 (6 month wait) is running in nicely. Can you recomend a good track day for Nobles?

RMA are running a (noisy) day on Friday 9th July at Donnington. Always well organised.

I'm booked up to go for the day. See you there ?

Cheers,
Ian.
