Undertray Question.

Guys -
Can anyone confirm that there should be a hole in the undertray directly beneath - and in the same outline shape as - the sump ? Coz there's one here on our new 3R. The cut looks as rough as hell compared to the others below the battery etc.The pessimist in me is suggesting the tray has been cut for easy access at some point, rather than undo all the undertray screws.
There's a track day sump fitted from new as an option. Just need to know if there should be a hole there as standard..........Stv

I'm sure mine isn't cut - are we talking about the flat undertray that runs the length of the car? Mine has a louvre thing in the middle and a pipe coming through from the aircon but there is no hole exposing the sump?
Hhhmmm I know what you're thinking, and I'll be crawling under my car when I get home. I wonder what sumps we've actually got....
Lads - Info came from official service centre up here.We just got the car a couple of weeks ago and don't know for sure if the undertray was cut when we got it or if it's been hacked on Monday when we put it in for its first service. Had a look underneath when we got it back and noticed the hole cut to suit the sump outline shape.
Called the garage and he said it was like that and either Noble or the supplying dealer cut the tray to suit the deeper track day sump. Says there's even a template available to do the job. To be honest I think it was cut on Monday - saves the service people removing all those screws to remove the tray for sump plug access. Seems to me cutting it would alter under airflow under the car.
