Hi all, just taken delivery of a 6 month old Titanium GTO-3R and would like to ask a few questions to existing Noblites!

Firstly and foremostly 'What a car!' Its still being run in so keeping under the necessary 4000rpm, but the performance is still staggering, cant wait to open it up to its full potential....took it to Goodwood F.O.S on Friday, amazing....

2 questions really....firstly, regarding the 2yr extended warranty that it 'had', do we have any legal grounding regarding the company that gave this warranty? I hear they went into liquidation and the warranty is now void....if not can anyone recommend a extended warranty...

Secondly, First gear seems slightly notchy when you try to select it, i.e, difficult to get into gear (you have to be particularly firm and direct to get a clean change.....does anyone else have the same problem?

These arent so much major problems, more, minor queries..

Also would love to hear about forthcoming events/track days where Nobles are welcome :-)

Cheers.

Hi smuudge and welcome to the nobility

I found with my car that 1st and 2nd were a bit notchy to start with but after a few months it gets much slicker......you also kind of adapt to the box so i now find myself changing gear pushing up from the bottom where in previous cars i changed from above (if that makes any sense)

Welcome to the Nobility! You'll find Noble's welcome in most places as people like them!

Hi - welcome to the fold!

If it's a warranty holdings extended warranty then panic not - it's underwritten by the insurance market and hence all claims will be honoured AFAIK.

Well done, very wise buying second hand and avoiding depreciation and pitfalls like sudden price drops by the factory. Wonder how anyone can own a 3R and not run it in. Mine has been in for 10 days for its first service (yes 10 days!) and I am missing it. Can't wait to open it up a little more when I get it back!

As far as i know the previous owner sold due to financial reasons and i managed to pick the car up through a relative in the trade....it was a good deal for a very high spec car so i am more than happy!

Just completed 1000ml run-in so im booked in for 2 weeks time.....cant wait, just hope its dry when I get it back..

Thanks for the info guys and Happy Motoring...
