Price reduction
Discussion
Any one in the same position as me? Paid top whack for my 3R in mid May. One week later the new price plummets by 2.5G and no mention of delivery charge {£795 + VAT in my case). I hear of one guy who took delivery the day before the price drop. I have written 2 polite letters to the factory but have yet to receive a reply. Gave Micknall a hard (but again polite)time at the Motor Show - he says deliveries after the announcement pay the new price, but no form of compensation, nor any attempt to explain the situation to people in my position. I suspect the factory may have an ongoing problem with the dealers they sacked!
The car is tremendous, but there are a lot of niggles. The dealers are also becoming evasive over the price increase, but assure me the factory will reply to my letters - I will add to this string if this happens.
I would not have posted this whinge had I received some sort of acknowledgement from the factory. Having heard good reports of factory backup, I am a tad dissapointed.

Am at the factory tomorrow - let me know what colour yours is and I'll try to keep an eye out for it?! :-)
