I love the speeds of the gear changes on the CS! As for the down shifts - hmmmmm yummy.

Great vid although it seemed to struggle with the speed of the terrain somewhat.

For those of you yet to download it - turn it up!

Why this Apple .mov stuff???

Means you have to download the whole thing before you can see it.... Shame Apple software engineers seem to have never done the HCI course at university

Come on girl - do it properly and stick an MPG 2 or 4, DIVX or WMV up.....

Maybe on a Windoze operating system.

I can watch .mov files that are only half downloaded on my Powerbook without a problem. I also don't get any distortion when watching the compressed version i uploaded.

maybe its because Apple engineers concentrate on getting an operating system that actually works

Apple are absolutely hopeless on windows. You can't preview .movs. Acrobat viewer (especially embedded in the browser) leads to instability on windows and pocket pc. In fact they are just generally crap devs as far as I can see.

The only reason OS X is an good is because they pinched all the important code

But it works... simple as that.

OS-X Panther is a work of art. Truely fantastic.

I realise how sh*t XP is when i go home and use it on my mum's computer.

Biased? Moi? Neverrrrrr.......

Yeh... back to the Nobles... Fantastic Car!

It started on the Apple platform and their devs are apple focused. Well at least thats the only excuse I can come up with for their shonky software which disregards the windows style guide.

To be honest, I can't remember the last time NT or XP crashed on me. Its all a bit religious these days, windows is pretty robust now. Windows is considered less secure I grant you, but theres a strong argument that its because most of the hacking effort is targetted at it.

Back in the day, circa 1990 or so, Adobe and Aldus ignored Apple's style guides too. Eventually, System 8 introduced a lot of what the two companies were pushing. They were mainly know for Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator and Aldus Pagemaker at the time. FWIW, Freehand and Quark were worse back then, much worse.

10 years later and it's finally come together.

And you're be downloading the player from www.apple.com just in case you hadn't sussed that (I'm sure to had).

I think Ted should sin bin everyone who starts religious arguments. MS v Apple / Nikon v Canon summed up by 'anything I like/use' v 'anything you like/use'. I wonder how look it'll be before riots at computer shows between geek gangs.

As for the 'rarry. Sounds great but the 'I'm saving the brakes' comment. For what better time? When else are you going to play 160MPH stopping games

I must make time to go to one of these soon. Do you need to have a bounce potty on?

Bloody hell! And thought this thread was going to be about my car and Kev's 360 CS - computers eh! can't live with can't live without them!

I actually slowed fairly heavily into the bend because both my wing mirros were taped up and I could not see him (therefore I must have been infront!) But I did not want to cut him up when going for the apex...!

Use XP at work and OSx at home, would have to say I prefer the mac (sorry!)

Surely thers a nifty bit of shareware to convert .movs to wmv's or mpg's isn't there ?
