I know that the GTC has been shown, and I know that Noble are pretty busy right now
but someone mentioned the possibility of a targa topped GTO on one of these threads... And if Noble are anything like TVR, the finished article will look different to that shown! Is there any substance to this? I'm not convinced by the GTC's hoop idea, but I want to replace my Elise 2 with something a bit more grunty, and I want to be able to take the roof off still. Nobles are about the only thing worth swapping a Lotus for IMHO.
There is nothing official yet...but Noble is looking at its options for a hotter GTC variant.
The GTC was well received by those wishing to move up from elises and similar, but not quite what other noble owners wishing to "upgrade" had in mind, given the dropping of turbo and power.
There are difficulties fitting twin turbos in the GTC shell as the rear end has been redefined and now also boast a boot.
I had suggested to noble that one option might be to consider a targa version of the M12 which would just use the twin panels (or similar) from the GTC to an otherwise normal M12 base.
Noble is considering its options at the moment and there has been no official word.
