Just to let you all know, the M14 will be representing the Noble marque (along with Micknall and an M400 in the Super Car Paddock) at the Festival of Speed this weekend on the Autocar/Classic & Sports Car/Motor Sport stand. Come along and say hello - I'll be around all weekend and I promise not to try to sell you a subscription....

Stuart, will be there Friday so feel free to try and sell me something! I presume the M14 will be static?! Will the M400 be doing the hillclimb?

Come and say hello on Friday then. Yes, the M14 will be static. Noble's involvement in the Super Car paddock isn't anything to do with us, but I undersand that the M400 will be taking part in the Super Car run.

The M400 will be doing the hillclimb on Friday (10am, 3pm), Saturday (2pm) and Sunday (2pm). Drivers will be Andy Green (the Land Speed Record holder), Tony Dron (journalist and leading classic racer) and myself.

Look forward to seeing you all there!

Yes, plan to be there on Friday.

Having not been to Goodwood before, what's the best ticket to get? I.e. I don't want sore feet all day, but I don't want to sit in the same seat all day just because I paid a squillion pounds for it! Is there a good compromise, or is a General Admin ticket the best way to go...

They are all out of grandstand tickets anyway (and have been since I started looking last week!).

Marlon, you'd might like to check as AFAIK it'll be TICKET ONLY from this year (ie: you'll not be able to buy a ticket on the door!).

Yes, ticket only. It's too late to post them but they will hold them for you to collect.

I was thinking more along the lines of short, bald and with "interesting" chin decoration
