Lovely place for a drive, Yorkshire, but steer clear of the moors if you're in a Noble - My car alarm stopped working and rendered my doors unopenable with the key fob whilst I was there. I was informed by the hotel owner that Filingdale, some kind of military place broadcasts high power signals that screw up certain cars. I thought he was talking b***ocks but it turned out to be true. After two days of assuming the car alarm was screwed and shouting a lot I got off the moors and everything was fine again. It's like one great big microwave oven up there, half the sheep are lying on the side of the road semi-cooked.

funny that,I had a similar problem with our Alfa Romeo when parked near a mates house near Twickenham - the bleedin' remote central locking wouldn't work, nor the alarm...luckily the immobiliser used a different system and I was able to unlock the car using the key and drive 1/2 mile down the road with the alarm blaring until it stopped....and mine wasn't the only car this happened to! do do do do, do do do do...there is something strange going on near my mate's house.
