Vredestein tyres?

Anyone running Vreds (ultrac sessanta) as their daily tyres? I had them on the Z4M and found them to be excellent in the dry and not so sensitive to temperature (on the road anyway), but since getting a set on the Nob until they're up to proper temperature they understeer like crazy. The fronts literally skate along and shudder up through the steering horribly.

Something doesn't seem right... I just had new dampers and geo from Jetstream so I'm pretty certain I'm sorted in that department.

Which mentions they needed a good few laps to get up to proper temps. I can deduce I may be expecting too much too soon when pressing on on road.

I've got them. What psi are you running , try lowering it a bit see if that helps

I run them and I'd agree that they like to be warm before they grip in the bends. Straight line grip is there from the off though, I don't get any wheelspin in any gear without it being the intention.
Not sure about pressures though, I have heard that you should run slightly more pressure with them because of the side walls being quite tough but that seems counteractive on a lightweight car such as this.

That was me last year, I had just put them on
My recommendation would be they are a good wet and damp tyre so as an every day car they are very good for the money, but if like me you only use the car in the dry and do like the odd track day then I wouldn't recommend these tyres as they are a very hard compound and never get sticky, which is why I have just bought a set of 888s Toyo proxis
to go on my new wheels,.
I do run a fair bit more power now than then so I get plenty of wheel spin even in 4th in the dry. AIMO of course
