Noble won't start
Discussion
OK jumped into the car this morning and started up fine. Backed off my drive and stalled once, started again fine. Almost straight away stalled again (both times my fault, not enough gas) and now it won't start.
If I get in the car and twist the key, disable the immobiliser everything comes on i.e. radio, lights but when I press the engine start the starter spins and almost a couple of attempts sounded like it was just on the verge of firing but then died. I'm reluctant to keep trying the starter too many times. Battery should be fine and the car hasn't been sitting around doing nothing i.e. done at least 250 miles in the last week or so.
Any suggestions where to start or is it my first RAC call out

Cheers for the replies chaps.
Car is left outside ungaraged and was damp but not wet. Everything in the engine bay *appears* to be dry plus it did start up fine initially (twice, what a tool
). It's sitting out in the sun at the moment so I'll leave it a bit and try again before writing it off
I'm pretty sure each time I attempted a start I did switch the key off, force of habit from driving other cars I reckon

Its probably flooded itself. Mine does this if I don't gas it enough when cold.
Start it with the throttle on the floor, will spin for a while before it fires, as it does fire get off the gas pronto, and dont worry if there is black smoke, it's only unburnt fuel.... works for me anyhow.

Job done. Typically I read this and went down, tried it and it started straight away just as the recovery truck pulled up outside Start it with the throttle on the floor, will spin for a while before it fires, as it does fire get off the gas pronto, and dont worry if there is black smoke, it's only unburnt fuel.... works for me anyhow.

Massive thanks
