hi guys i'm thinking about getting a noble 3r can anyone recomend any insurance companies cheers

Quite a few of us use competition car insurance . Cost me £600 but I get 5 track days covered in the policy . Tux

I'm with Admiral, cost is £327 per year fully comp (NO track days).

Will be looking for track day insurance in the new year.

I use classicline, they cover the mods which Admiral wouldn't last time I tried.

Hi,

Im recently a new owner, Admiral definitely the way to go for young drivers in my opinion. I pay 780 which includes the non standard exhaust. No different whatsoever between garaging and parking on the driveway which was odd. Can anyone shed any light on this?

They get lots of claims for people pranging their cars going in/out of the garage. So statistically the car being garaged is more of a risk in that respect. Also, I was told that in respect of security the car being tucked away in a garage is worse because if someone does get into the garage they can take their time in attempting to get into or starting the car without anyone seeing them. Guess it makes sense when you think about it!

just got online quote with elephant of £607 are they any good?

CCI for me too, under £500 for a 32 year old. I have no NCB for it either so they mirrored anonther policy I have.

As Tux said, 5 track days included in that too. Plus they cover all my (minor) mods.

They are the same company as admiral and sheelas wheels just different branding.

Think you need to keep the car in a garage
They dont charge extra for mods, just let them know
They give discount if you join a car club so i joined SELOC as there is no noble club.
And ofcourse the track days.

I told them there was no Noble club otherwise I'd have joined. I also mentioned pistonheads has this forum and they said send them a copy of my profile and that would count as a membership in this case.

Admiral do appear to have cornered the market in this type of policy ( i.e. someone like me, 1 Nob and 1 shopping car ). They had my business this year for the first time as well.

im only 22 and got insured with Admira/elephant fairly cheaply. I seem to remember it being £1600 including mods and i have 1 ncb and 3 points sp50..oops!

admiral wont cover you if you have an upgraded intercooler, your allowed other mods but nothing major and an intercooler is considered major

I was insured with them and had to cancel because of this

all my other cars are insured with them and they did a great deal on my daughter when she was 17 and she's building her own no claims on my multi car policy so you can insure all your cars in the household on the same policy even if you are brining your own individual no claims to the policy... its brillient!
